Tony Macchione founded Stem Wine group in 2004, after a very successful career in the wine industry, where he developed an outstanding reputation for customer service while working as a Vintages Product Consultant at the LCBO and for another wine agency. He was awarded the Wine and Spirit’s Education Trust Advanced Certificate through IWEG and used his extensive product knowledge and exceptional palate while on the prestigious Vintner’s Quality Alliance (VQA) Grading Panel. Tony’s passion for wine and desire to learn, continue to drive him to explore the world for new regions and opportunities.

Stem Wine Group is the second largest consignment agency in Ontario with nearly 50 superior-quality suppliers from across the globe. Most of Stem Wine Group’s suppliers are family owned and operated and are focused on producing the best possible products.

Today, Stem Wine Group continues to grow in a vibrant and dynamic way, always searching for new wines of exceptional quality; wines that have character and a story to tell.
